Job Description

The Accounting Officer role plays a pivotal part in supporting the organization's financial planning and decision-making processes.

This position involves management accounting functions, including cost accounting, to support risk assessment, budgeting, and service cost planning. The individual is responsible for conducting analyses to forecast, budget, and assess performance plans, presenting findings to Departmental and Division Heads to aid operational decisions.

The primary focus of revenue management is to maximize revenue and profit opportunities. The Accounting Officer compiles and analyzes data to inform pricing and profitability decisions and gathers competitive business data.

  • Assist in planning and directing the activities of the finance and accounting department.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial performance reports for Execom and Department Heads.
  • Supervise day-to-day revenue management operations, including client costing, CE creation and uploading, and other transactions.
  • Provide insights to support long-term and short-term decision-making.
  • Prepare financial data and generate weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
  • Coordinate with internal clients to meet deadlines.
  • Analyze discrepancies in financial reports and implement resolutions.
  • Assist Department Heads and DBMs in budget preparation and expense management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Admin and Finance teams.
Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing financial models for business decisions.
  • SUPPORTING BUSINESS UNITS WITH FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING.
  • Assisting the CFO in reviewing financial results and tax strategies.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 1-2 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, detail-oriented, with good analytical skills.
