We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Hospitality Marketing Professional to lead our marketing efforts from the ground up.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies tailored to multiple hotel properties. You will be responsible for driving campaigns, implementing initiatives to boost visibility, occupancy rates, and overall revenue.

The ideal candidate will be both a strategist and a hands-on executor, comfortable advising senior leadership while also rolling up their sleeves to get things done. Experience in sales and a deep understanding of hospitality marketing will be essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Design and manage marketing campaigns across digital, print, and traditional channels to increase brand awareness and bookings.
  • Optimise online presence—oversee website content/design, SEO, and social media platforms, ensuring the site supports direct booking growth.
  • Collaborate with leadership to prepare strategic plans and budgets for strategy implementation.
  • Work closely with sales to create promotional offers/packages that drive occupancy.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and guest feedback to refine marketing approaches.
  • Oversee creation of marketing collateral and promotional materials.
  • Monitor campaign performance, prepare regular reports, and recommend data-driven improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in hospitality marketing.
  • Proven track record in both strategic planning and hands-on execution.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel booking platforms, digital marketing, and brand positioning.
  • Experience in sales or business development in the hospitality sector is highly advantageous.
  • Website design and content management experience (WordPress or similar preferred).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions with minimal supervision.

Successful candidates will be expected to be available for meetings and collaboration during core Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) business hours.
