Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven finance specialist to support our global finance team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations across multiple countries.
This position involves processing and validating accounts payable invoices, resolving discrepancies to ensure accurate posting in Oracle systems. The successful candidate will also prepare quarterly GST reports for applicable jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities- Process and validate accounts payable invoices: Resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate posting in Oracle systems.
- Prepare quarterly GST reports: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for applicable jurisdictions.
- Reconcile bank statements: Weekly reconciliation against general ledger entries ensures accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain accounting databases: Data entry and backup documentation are crucial for financial transparency.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations: Journal entries related to accounts payable adjustments ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Manage foreign vendor balances: Monthly revaluation ensures accurate cash positions.
- Prepare weekly funding requirement schedules: Accurate forecasting enables informed business decisions.
- Bachelor's Degree: Accountancy, Finance, Banking, or Business Management.
- Relevant experience: 2-3 years in accounting, with solid exposure to accounts payable and general ledger.
- Strong understanding: Accounting processes and cycles.
- Proficient in: Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-oriented: Commitment to high-quality work.
- Strong business acumen: Financial skills and knowledge.
