Claims Professional - Dental Insurance

This role requires a skilled professional to manage and process dental claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolution. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for following up on outstanding claims, sending claims and attachments to insurance companies, determining denial validity, generating reports, and resolving issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and process dental claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  • Follow up on outstanding claims, ensuring all follow-ups are properly documented and communicated.
  • Determine denial validity and address them appropriately.
  • Generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Resubmit and reprocess claims, including grievances and appeals.
  • Clear rejected claims on a weekly basis.
  • Update the office tracker with payments posted (check scans and EFTs) and address any remaining rejected claims.
  • Complete all assigned follow-ups (on office spreadsheets).
  • Retrieve EOBs from insurance portals for posting.
  • Post insurance payments according to office preference, uploading EOBs and applying corrections as needed.
Requirements:
  • Strong command of verbal and written English and interpersonal skills.
  • Background in dental insurance or collections industries.
  • 3+ years of hands-on collections experience.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote position.
  • Outstanding organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
