Role Overview:

This role sits within our Brokerage and Investigation department in Belfast, supporting the business administration of brokerage rates for Global Broking in Europe.

The department consists of three key functions: documentation, maintenance, and investigation of queries raised on invoices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide central documentation for all brokerage rates and ensure proper storage adhering to company standards.
  • Respond to client requests, including new, amended, or copied fee schedules or venue rate cards.
  • Notify personnel and customers of new agreements and engage with relevant departments to automate brokerage rates.
Key Tasks:
  • Translate fees into relevant brokerage data systems for all products.
  • Input brokerage fees in relevant systems for new or amended rates and discounts.
  • Perform checks to ensure reliability of data and suggest technical enhancements.
  • Ensure effective management of trade investigations raised by clients following invoice review.
  • Track and analyze transactions where brokerage has been input manually.
Requirements:
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Significant experience in fast-paced environments and financial markets.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with industry functions and structures.
  • Experience with in-house systems.
  • Experience in change/project management.
