NetSuite Systems Architect

We're seeking a skilled NetSuite Developer to join our team. In this position, you will collaborate with business partners, technology architects, and system analysts to help implement the enterprise applications product roadmap. As an application engineer, you will utilize your technical and functional knowledge to analyze system issues, perform bug triage, coordinate with multiple cross-functional teams, and find solutions. You will be responsible for documenting detailed processes, performing systems configuration, scripting, bug fixes, testing, implementation, continuous improvement, and ongoing support. To ensure we provide optimal service, you will be skilled at business processes and methodologies, along with a strong analytical and data modeling background.

• Works closely with business partners, internal or external, to understand processes, gaps, and goals.
• Develops and maintains documentation related to developing and modifying business processes and systems.
• Partners with business, internal, and external technology teams to define associated system requirements and solutions.
• Participates in systems implementation projects (requirements documentation, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification, and resolution).
• Provides technical solutions to business problems related to finance enterprise applications.

• Designs, implements, and maintains automated workflows, scripts, and integrations within NetSuite and connected systems.
• Takes initiative to gather information, investigate gaps/issues, identifies potential solutions, and presents to both business and IT stakeholders.
• Facilitates review sessions with functional owners, subject matter experts, and end-user representatives.
• Works with various teams to investigate finance production support issues and ensures timely resolution.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop project milestones and timelines for development, UAT, production validation, and go-live.
• Participates in scheduled system upgrades, including test plan development, testing, reviewing, and evaluating new functionality.
• Supports delivery of reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence capabilities through partnership with IT and business.
• Led and performs data management and migration activities.
• Ensures training and timely communications in accordance with project timelines.
• Engages in other areas of finance such as security, compliance (SOX), reporting, production, and participates in change management support to ensure projects are addressed from end to end and meet the needs, interests, and success criteria of the business.

• Bachelor's degree in Information & Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience working with NetSuite ERP in a technical or techno-functional role.
• Good functional and configuration-level understanding of one or more areas including but not limited to ERP System Administration, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Invoicing, Revenue Recognition, Taxation, Customer Billing, etc.
• Experience in JavaScript or any other programming language is a must.
• Strong experience with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, SuiteAnalytics.
• Experience with building web services integrations (REST/SOAP).
• Proven ability to learn complex, distributed systems quickly and thoroughly.
• Document complex systems, processes, events, and architectures.
• Must be customer-centric and have the interpersonal skills necessary to manage business and technology relationships.
• Must be a self-starter, deal with ambiguity, and thrive in a rapidly changing business environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally) with both technical and non-technical parties.
