Linux Kernel Engineering Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux kernel engineer to lead our development and maintenance efforts.

The ideal candidate will have significant programming experience in C, with Python, Golang, or other similar languages being highly regarded. Experience with operating system kernel internals and concepts, particularly Linux, is preferred but not essential.

The successful candidate will also possess solid background knowledge of Git and experience working with Linux (Debian or Ubuntu preferred). Excellent presentation skills and the ability to travel for company events are also required.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have strong grasp of device drivers, BSP's, and other low-level system engineering concepts. Prior experience developing with software packaging formats, specifically Ubuntu/Debian/Snap, is highly regarded. Understanding of Linux kernel upstream processes and release cycles, performance engineering, and security expertise are also valuable assets.

Furthermore, the successful candidate will have a solid background in CI/CD and process automation, as well as prior public involvement with an open-source project.
