Trade-In Coordinator Role Summary">

As a Trade-In Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the trade-in process to boost used car purchases and maximize financial returns. This role involves overseeing disbursements through accounts payable, maintaining full stock control and reporting of traded vehicles, coordinating with finance companies for vehicle payouts and security releases, and developing remarketing strategies beyond auction channels to improve vehicle resale profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the trade-in process to ensure timely and efficient resolution of all trade-in related matters.
  • Oversee disbursements through accounts payable to ensure accurate and compliant payment processing.
  • Maintain accurate records of all traded vehicles, including inventory levels, sales data, and other relevant information.
  • Coordinate with finance companies to arrange vehicle payouts and security releases, ensuring smooth transaction processes.
  • Develop and implement effective remarketing strategies to optimize vehicle resale values and meet business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a professional administration and/or customer service environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data management and record-keeping.
  • Ability to manage high work volumes and meet deadlines under pressure, while maintaining excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent planning, coordination, and Microsoft Office proficiency, with ability to learn new systems and software quickly.
  • Strong initiative and ability to work independently and within a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
Preferred Skills and Expertise:
  • At least 1 year of experience in the fleet management industry.
  • Interest or passion for vehicles of all types, with knowledge of market trends and industry developments.
  • Effective stakeholder management, networking, and negotiation skills, with ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to improve resale value and process efficiency, with a track record of delivering results-driven solutions.
  • Ability to build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with customers, partners, and colleagues.
