Job Title: Accounting Admin Staff

In this role, you will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks related to accounting and finance.

  1. Preparation of delivery receipts and sales invoices: You will prepare accurate and timely delivery receipts and sales invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  2. Preparation of cheque vouchers for payables: You will prepare cheque vouchers for payables, ensuring that all payments are made on time and in accordance with the company's financial policies.
  3. Recording of incoming stocks: You will record all incoming stocks accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring that stock levels are up to date and inventory is managed effectively.
  4. Updating payment collection sheets from receivables: You will update payment collection sheets from receivables, ensuring that all payments are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
  5. Countering of sales invoices for payment processing: You will counter sales invoices for payment processing, ensuring that all invoices are processed efficiently and accurately.
  6. Maintenance of admin files: You will maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all admin files, ensuring that all documents are easily accessible and secure.
  7. Fulfillment of accreditation requirements for clients: You will fulfill accreditation requirements for clients, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and submitted on time.
  8. Preparation of monthly reports of statements of account: You will prepare accurate and timely monthly reports of statements of account, providing detailed information on client accounts and financial transactions.
Requirements
  • Accounting skills: Proficiency in accounting software and systems, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Organisational skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Education: Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance, such as a degree in accounting or a certified public accountant (CPA) designation.
