Key Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to join our development team.

The successful candidate will design and build responsive, user-friendly websites using the WordPress CMS, develop custom themes and plugins, manage front-end and back-end development, and ensure high performance and availability of the CMS.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and building responsive, user-friendly websites.
  • Developing custom WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Managing front-end and back-end website development.
  • Ensuring high performance and availability, managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
  • Collaborating with design and content teams to bring website concepts to life.
  • Conducting website performance tests and troubleshooting content issues.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends in web development and WordPress.
  • Maintaining and updating websites as needed.
  • Providing technical support and training to clients and staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
  • Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
  • Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
  • Familiarity with website architecture and navigation features.
  • Knowledge of MySQL database management.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong understanding of website performance, security, and optimization techniques.
  • Ability to convert comprehensive layouts and wireframes into working HTML pages.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
