**Job Title:** Senior Program Design Specialist

About This Role

This role involves informing the design, development, and implementation of water, sanitation, and hygiene projects and activities across the organization.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to technical strategies through a multi-sectoral, collaborative approach.
  • Provide technical guidance for the effective implementation and quality of water, sanitation, and hygiene projects globally.
  • Define technical specifications and supervise water infrastructure projects and programs.
  • Develop systems-based, sustainable water schemes and practices, and implement effective hygiene promotion programs.
  • Represent the organization and present technical programs at relevant forums.
  • Write technical components related to water, sanitation, and hygiene for proposal development.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering or a similar field with a master's degree preferred. They will have at least 10 years of experience working in this or a similar position or field, with advisor-level experience in a water program in a developing country being desirable. Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
