Job Description:

  • Manage and oversee the revenue accounting team to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, or other relevant accounting standards.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain revenue accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales, finance, and legal to review contracts and ensure proper revenue treatment.
  • Monitor and analyze revenue transactions and related accounts, identifying discrepancies and recommending corrective actions.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports and disclosures for internal stakeholders and external auditors.
  • Lead the revenue accounting aspect of financial audits and support regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Provide training and guidance to the accounting team on revenue recognition standards and best practices.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance revenue accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support the finance leadership with ad hoc analyses related to revenue trends, forecasts, and business performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting with a focus on revenue recognition and financial reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS) and revenue recognition standards (ASC 606, IFRS 15).
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Experience with SAP systems and accounting software.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

  • 13th month salary

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Quezon City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
