International Financial Operations Specialist

Job Overview:
The role of a Global Payments Expert is to oversee and optimize international payment operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across diverse banking networks.
This involves managing end-to-end processing of cross-border and multi-currency payments and bank transfers, developing and maintaining strong relationships with international banks and payment service providers, and ensuring adherence to local and international financial regulations.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage International Payment Processes: Oversee the end-to-end processing of cross-border and multi-currency payments and bank transfers, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Banking Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with international banks and payment service providers, facilitating seamless transactions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local and international financial regulations, monitor compliance standards, and implement best practices in cross-border payments.
- Reconciliation & Reporting: Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile accounts, monitor transaction discrepancies, and generate detailed reports on payment activities.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline payment workflows, optimize transaction costs, and enhance operational efficiency through the use of modern payment technologies and tools.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders to support financial planning, budgeting, and audit processes related to international transactions.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in managing multi-country payments, bank transfers, or similar financial operations.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of international banking systems, multi-currency payment processing, and financial reconciliation software.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks governing cross-border payments in different regions.
- Analytical Ability: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail with the ability to analyze data and drive informed decisions.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the capacity to work collaboratively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
