We are looking for an experienced financial professional to join our accounting and finance organization. As a key contributor, the General Accountant will play a critical role in the month-end close process.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. A bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required, along with proficiency in US GAAP and technical accounting principles.

  • Assist the Accounting Manager with consolidations, reviewing domestic and foreign subsidiary financials, eliminations, and financial statement reports in NetSuite.
  • Manage business travel and expense platforms, ensuring policy compliance and accurate coding of transactions.
  • Maintain fixed asset subledgers and propose additions and disposals.
  • Analyze and provide commentary on monthly Balance Sheet and P&L account balances.

The selected candidate will also be responsible for creating and maintaining critical accounting policies, executing annual financial statement audits, and assisting with system implementations and technical accounting analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules on a timely basis.
  • Support the billing department during month-end close and ensure payments are processed timely and purchase order exceptions are resolved.
  • Interact cross-functionally with department managers to support accounting team goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or CPA.
  • Proficient understanding of US GAAP and technical accounting.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of General Ledger accounting experience including account reconciliation and analysis.
  • Experience in month-end processes.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to pitch in with assorted tasks.
