Job Title: Data Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to develop, maintain, evaluate, and test data solutions.

As a Data Specialist, you will design, build, optimize, and support data models and ETL processes based on business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage data infrastructure capable of supporting a rapidly growing data-driven organization.
  • Coordinate data access and security to enable data scientists and analysts to access data efficiently and securely.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with AWS services such as S3, RedShift, Glue (with Spark and Python), Lambda functions, Glue Catalog, DynamoDB, Aurora.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms and managed streaming for Apache Kafka.
  • Knowledge of open-source technologies like Apache Airflow, dbt, Spark/Scala or Spark/Python.
  • Experience developing batch and real-time data pipelines for Data Warehousing and Data Lakes.
  • Experience with DataBricks services and managing data services.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong background in SQL, Unix/Linux, and ETL processes.
  • Experience with Big Data tools such as Python, Hadoop, Hive, or Spark.
  • Fluency in the Japanese language is preferred.
