Senior Project Director


Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead projects within the UK market.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quantity surveying, architecture, and project management.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee pre-construction activities: takeoff, estimates, scheduling, scope creation, package splitting, tender documentation, subcontractor communication.
  • Provide technical oversight of project execution.
  • Review plans and propose value-engineered alternatives.
  • Setup contracts (JCT).
  • Manage post-contract project activities: CSA, budget control, procurement, cash flow, quality control.
  • Handle handover processes, operation and maintenance, services, utilities, building control, warranty management.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • Proven experience in project management, quantity surveying, or architecture within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cost estimation, contract management, architectural design.
  • Proficiency in software: Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Excel.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills for client liaison, contractor coordination, team collaboration.
