Job Title:

Accounting Professional

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Professional to join our team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks including journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliations, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform sales analysis and record cash collections.
  • Monitor account reconciliations and perform ad hoc reporting.
  • Work with the team to implement and manage workflows and the closing process.
  • Prepare clear and concise workpapers and financial reports.
  • Communicate financial data effectively to stakeholders.
  • Prepare journal entries, schedules, and matrices.
  • Execute journal entries and month-end close with minimal supervision.
  • Support special projects and department-wide initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and written communication skills required.
  • Minimum 3 years of recent and relevant accounting experience.
  • BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook), QuickBooks, and other finance-related software.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment.
  • Analytical, quantitative, and social skills required.
  • Good time management and work ethic skills.
  • Ability to meet business-critical deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
