About This Role

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining complex data solutions on the Azure Data Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of data solutions on the Azure Data Platform.
  • Collaborate with external service providers during solution implementation.
  • Develop and maintain deep understanding of Azure cloud services, particularly Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Machine Learning.
  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines and integration solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy, performance, and reliability across all stages of the ETL lifecycle.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree or further studies in Data Science/Analytics is a plus.
  • 4-8 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role with focus on Azure Data Platform.
  • Strong proficiency in Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, and Azure Cosmos DB or other NoSQL databases.
  • Solid understanding of data warehouse, data lake, and lakehouse architectures.
  • Hands-on experience integrating data from enterprise platforms such as SAP and Salesforce.
  • Azure certification: DP-203 (Azure Data Engineer Associate) or AZ-305 (Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions).
  • Strong skills in SQL, Python, and cloud-based ETL development.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Familiarity with DAMA data management principles is an advantage.

Candidates must have excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong communication and collaboration skills, and fluency in English. Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote team.
