Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our team in implementing DevOps solutions in Azure. As a Lead Consultant, you will be responsible for crafting and delivering creative cloud solutions for clients.

The ideal candidate will have experience in consulting and demonstrated success in technical implementations and project work. They will be accountable for client solution development, delivery, and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be an essential part of the team responsible for designing and delivering cloud solutions for clients.
  • Participate in technical envisioning, technical design, and delivery of assigned projects.
  • Work with solution architects to support project efforts from a technical perspective.
  • Execute the implementation of designed solutions into client deliverables.
  • Assist with design and deployment of client workloads into Azure.
  • Provide technical expertise and support across four areas of specialization:
    • Datacenter Transformation
    • Azure Infrastructure
    • DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
    • Cloud Automation
Qualifications
  1. 7+ years of experience in system administration (Windows and/or Linux), DevOps, and/or software development and IT Operations.
  2. 5+ years project experience migrating and deploying cloud-based solutions.
  3. Demonstrated hands-on experience with Terraform or Bicep, ARM Templates, and Ansible.
  4. Hands-on implementation experience of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery in Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and/or Bamboo.
  5. 3+ years implementing and supporting Microsoft Azure infrastructure and topologies.
  6. Automation experience - strong scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Groovy, etc.).
  7. Experience with various cloud deployment methodologies.
  8. Understanding of cloud ecosystem and leading-edge cloud emerging technologies.
  9. Performance analysis, troubleshooting, and remediation techniques.
  10. Strong analytical problem-solving ability.
  11. Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  12. Self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a virtual project team.
  13. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications
  • Experience in Chef/Puppet, Docker, and/or Kubernetes is a plus.
