Job Title: Mortgage Broker AssistantDescription

A Mortgage Broker Assistant is required to join a dynamic team of professionals. As a key support role, you will be responsible for delivering unparalleled support and ensuring seamless operations throughout the loan application process.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Broker throughout the loan application process.
  • Assist brokers at all stages of the loan process, from initial contact through to settlement.
  • Provide high-level executive and administrative support to Mortgage Brokers and their applications.
  • Request client information and liaise with clients directly to gather supporting documentation.
  • Conduct needs analysis, serviceability assessments, product assessment, and funding position based on clients' objectives and situations.
  • Research lender policies and prepare loan comparisons.
  • Prepare and package client loan applications, ensuring accurate data entry and supporting documentation.
  • Lender follow-up and status reporting.
  • Take ownership of compliance-related matters, ensuring accurate documentation in the CRM system.
  • Complete loan serviceability, order valuations, prepare forms, gather rate quotes, arrange loan doc execution, and arrange settlements with stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years Australian experience supporting a mortgage broker or banking/lending industry (an advantage).
  • Experience with Aggregator CRM software and Applyonline/Simpology (LoanApp) lodgment systems.
  • Passionate about delivering quality client outcomes.
  • Understanding of data privacy, Australian Best Interest Duty, Responsible Lending, and the broker's obligations under this legislation.
  • Accountable and accurate work practices.
  • Understanding of mortgages language and end-to-end loan application process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a cohesive and high-paced environment.
  • Well-presented and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to understand financial documents and assess PAYG applications.
  • Great team player with a strong work ethic.
  • IT savvy and able to learn software quickly.
  • Highly organized and proficient at multi-tasking.
