Warehouse Operations Professional

The Warehouse Operations Professional plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

  • Goods Receipt: Inspect and store incoming goods properly to prevent damage or loss.
  • Picking and Packing: Select and package orders for delivery or dispatch efficiently.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records and assist in regular cycle counts to ensure stock levels are up-to-date.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Ensure the warehouse is clean, safe, and organized to prevent accidents and improve productivity.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts or other equipment as required.
  • Logistics Coordination: Work with logistics and purchasing teams to coordinate stock movements.
  • Stock Monitoring: Regularly check stock levels and report any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Safety and Protocols: Adhere to all safety and operational protocols to minimize risks.

To be successful, you should have:

  • A high school graduate or equivalent; vocational training is a plus.
  • At least 1 year of experience in warehouse operations or inventory handling.
  • Familiarity with warehouse practices and inventory systems.
  • Physical fitness to lift and move items as needed.
  • Basic knowledge of safety and warehouse procedures.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail skills.
  • A team player who can work effectively with others.
  • A forklift operation license is an advantage.
