Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Collections Representative to join our team. This role will involve contacting customers regarding overdue accounts via phone and email, negotiating payment arrangements and settlements, updating account information and payment statuses, following up on broken promises and missed payments, adhering to compliance and regulatory standards, maintaining detailed records of all collection activities, and meeting or exceeding daily and monthly collection targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contact customers to resolve outstanding balances
  • Negotiate payment plans and settlements
  • Update customer accounts and payment records
  • Follow up on missed payments and broken promises
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Maintain accurate records of collection activities
  • Meet or exceed collection targets
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Fluency in English is essential
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills required
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Familiarity with debt collection laws and practices preferred
  • Previous experience in collections or customer service an asset
