Job Summary

An experienced Data Integration Engineer is required to build and implement ETL and data pipelines for importing, cleaning, transforming, validating, and optimizing data.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identify and acquire pertinent data needed for reporting, dashboard creation, and insights generation from various data sources.
  • Reference data dictionary, data mapping documents, data models, and database structures when analyzing possible sources of data.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of the data mapped from the staging environment to the target environment or data repository.
  • Create and develop ETL/ELT programs and data pipelines to move or copy data from source systems to the data repository.
  • Performance tune and optimize all Data Ingestion and Data Integration processes, including Data Platform and databases.
  • Work closely with DBA and Data Center on restoring historical data, files, and databases.
  • Implement data security policies to protect sensitive information.
  • Design and implement data warehouse architecture that supports business operations.
  • Develop data marts to support specific business processes or functions.
  • Collaborate with Data Science and Analytics Unit, application developers, and Business Analysts to locate required data.
  • Provide level 2 support on ETL/data pipeline errors and inconsistencies.
  • Prepare monthly accomplishment reports and submit them to the Data Engineering and Operations Head.
