Job Title: Truck Supply Coordinator

The successful candidate will coordinate the movement of trucks to ensure timely supply chain operations.

  • Oversee daily truck requirements and volume forecasts, ensuring seamless integration with dispatch schedules.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external vendors to secure reliable on-time truck availability and deployment.
  • Maintain accurate records of truck arrivals, no-shows, backfills, and exceptions, escalating issues as needed to senior logistics personnel.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, linehaul, and operations teams to align truck dispatch with loading timelines and route planning, optimizing overall logistics efficiency.
  • Validate truck documentation to ensure compliance with company standards, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail throughout the process.
  • Manage the site's truck roster and support updates on truck inventory and partner assignments, ensuring real-time visibility and adaptability.
  • Escalate chronic or urgent truck supply issues to senior logistics personnel for strategic resolution, leveraging expertise and resources to drive effective problem-solving.
  • Contribute to daily truck performance monitoring and contribute to monthly evaluations of trucking partner performance, providing actionable insights to inform future logistics strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in logistics, trucking coordination, or supply chain operations; fresh graduates with strong internship experience are welcome to apply.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills, especially when working with external vendors or partners.
  • Proficiency in basic Google Sheets (e.g., tracking tools, basic formulas).
  • Ability to be deployed onsite and work in a fast-paced, dynamic logistics environment.
  • Amenable to shifting schedules and weekend work as required.
