Semi-Truck Parts Sales Person/Commercial Parts Specialist -USA MARKET

We are a premier family-owned heavy-duty truck parts store in Philadelphia, PA. As we expand our horizons, we are in search of a knowledgeable Semi-Truck Parts Sales Person/Commercial Parts Specialist.

Who Are We Looking For?

Someone fluent in English with a comprehensive understanding of semi trucks, truck parts, and diesel engines.

Experience as a diesel mechanic, owner-operator, or a history in Class 8 truck parts sales is a significant advantage.

Graduates from technical institutes with mechanical knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Familiarity with brands such as Volvo, Freightliner, Peterbilt, Kenworth, Mack, International, Cummins, and others.

A strong understanding of systems like air brake, after-treatment, and general diesel engines.

Knowledge of terms like "seventh injector", "4707s", and "4711s" is essential.

Spanish or Russian language knowledge is a plus since a lot of customers are from EX Soviet Union and Latin America

Key Responsibilities:

Assist customers in selecting the right parts based on their requests.

Manage inventory and handle backorders.

Source parts via VIN numbers and input data into the system.

Organize pickups and deliveries while ensuring the best prices and availability.

Handle customer payments and other related tasks.

Essential Qualifications:

Solid knowledge of heavy-duty truck parts.

Proven organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities.

A minimum of 1-year experience at a parts counter or a technical school/college.

2 years' experience in a commercial truck mechanic shop or parts department.
