Legal Specialist Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Legal Specialist to join our team, based in Makati City. This role is designed to provide expert legal support on a project or fixed-term basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide accurate and timely legal advice to internal teams on contracts, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and legal requirements.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, including conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Support business initiatives and resolve legal issues by working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct legal research on emerging issues, providing clear and concise recommendations to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in law (LLB), Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent postgraduate qualification in law.
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a legal role, preferably within a corporate or law firm setting.
  • Strong background in contract drafting and management is preferred.
