About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Operations Specialist to fill this critical position. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Network Performance: Utilize various monitoring tools to track network performance and system alerts in real-time.
  • Troubleshoot Network Issues: Respond to network incidents and outages, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Update systems and perform routine maintenance to guarantee reliability and security.
  • Collaborate with IT Teams: Work closely with other teams to diagnose and resolve complex network issues through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Document Incidents and Resolutions: Record network incidents, resolutions, and maintenance activities to facilitate knowledge sharing and process improvement.
  • Provide Technical Support: Offer assistance to clients and internal teams with technical support as needed, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
  • Participate in On-Call Rotation: Provide 24/7 network support through on-call rotation, ensuring continuous availability of critical systems.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a NOC or similar network support role is necessary.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching, along with proficiency in troubleshooting network issues and performing root cause analysis is essential.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are highly valued.
