Business Analyst Role Overview

The ideal candidate will drive financial insights, identify gaps and inefficiencies across our business and operational processes. This role is critical in driving strategic decision-making by assessing the financial impact of business initiatives.

The successful Financial Business Analyst will partner with leadership to deliver financial analysis, develop strategies, and recommend data-driven solutions that support operational efficiency and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis including modeling, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and ROI assessments.
  • Develop, monitor, and interpret financial and operational performance metrics, KPIs, and dashboards.
  • Partner with leadership to design and implement process improvements that drive financial and operational scalability.
  • Support strategic decision-making by analyzing the financial implications of business initiatives.
  • Research industry trends, benchmarks, and best practices in SaaS and health-tech to inform business recommendations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a hybrid role combining both.
  • Proven ability to perform financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting at a high level.
  • Experience analyzing and improving business processes, with a strong understanding of operational inefficiencies.
  • Background in SaaS or health-tech industries preferred.
  • Proficiency with BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
  • Advanced skills in Excel, with experience in accounting/finance platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, and SQL-based analysis.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
