Bookkeeper Job Summary

As a detail-oriented Bookkeeper, you will support accounting and financial operations across a growing portfolio of multifamily real estate assets.

Responsibilities:
  • Record and categorize transactions across multiple entities in Yardi software.
  • Maintain general ledgers and prepare account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Manage bank activity, initiate, track, and confirm intercompany and external transfers and wires.
  • Process payments and disbursements efficiently.
  • Reconcile corporate credit card activity and ensure accurate expense tracking.
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable activity across properties and entities.
  • Assist with entity-level financial statement preparation and monthly close procedures.
  • Support other members of the accounting team with cross-functional initiatives.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial data to internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Prior experience in real estate and corporate multi-entity environments is a plus.
  • Experience with Yardi software is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong organizational skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
