Payroll Analyst Role

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering end-to-end payroll processing for Australia and New Zealand entities.

About the Job

The Payroll Analyst will promptly, professionally, and courteously resolve questions received through the ticketing tool and email. You will report to the Senior Manager, Payroll.

  • Prepare, reconcile, file/lodgment, and payment of PAYG, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, IRD, Kiwi saver, and all statutory requirements for both Australia and New Zealand
  • Comply with government statutory requirements
  • Conduct audits of payroll records
  • Familiarize yourself with the taxation of salaries, benefits, and other factors
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies/queries by collecting and analyzing information
  • Support, advise, and assist with continual process improvement projects
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years experience in AUS payroll
  • Experience with payroll processing and wage attachment
  • Knowledge of Kronos, Oracle HR, payroll, and general ledger systems
  • Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills
  • Great interpersonal skills in working with a diverse population
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
