Financial Management Specialist

As a skilled bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in supporting our organization's financial management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process full accounts payable cycle, including invoice and payment processing, GL coding, vendor maintenance, and general record-keeping
  • Build strong relationships with departments by managing billing and payment issues with timely resolution
  • Process corporate credit cards in accordance with internal policies and controls.
  • Support month, quarter-end, and annual close activities, and prepare reports as requested by senior management
  • Review and audit credit card statements and charges to ensure accuracy and correctness
  • Suggest changes or improvements to enhance efficiency and cost savings
  • Liaise between business units to ensure sales commissions are processed on time
  • Support ad hoc projects and analysis, focusing on marketing research and competitive intelligence
  • Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, marketing research, and email marketing
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
  • At least 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks proficiency required
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask projects, prioritize, work independently, and organize effectively
  • Proficiency in Google Suite of Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail)
  • Must be trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality

Essential Equipment:

  • Stable internet connection with at least 50 Mbps postpaid
  • Computer with at least 8GB RAM and Intel i5 core processor or equivalent
  • Noise-cancelling headset
  • Backup internet connection (prepaid home Wi-Fi router or pocket Wi-Fi)
