About This Role

This is a job opening for an Accounting and Finance Specialist. The role involves managing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts communications and documentation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and respond to all emails received from clients and stakeholders.
  • Escalate any issues or concerns that are not fully understood.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members to resolve issues.
  • Process and manage various financial transactions, including purchases orders, invoices, and reconciliations.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of financial data and transactions.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial reports to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Australian accounting practices, particularly in payroll and operational roles.
  • Solid analytical skills to support account managers and clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities.
  • Proficient in Employment Hero Payroll and Xero software.
