Job Description

As a procurement professional, you will be responsible for the timely execution and delivery of sourcing & procurement process on requisition, particularly for Hotel/Lodging, Venue & Catering requirements.

The successful candidate will ensure that general procurement process and supplier relationships are carried out in alignment with World Vision Procurement Policies.

  • Drive cost savings for the organization through effective negotiations with suppliers and creation of a framework agreement for assigned category and regularly purchased items.
  • Research and evaluate requests based on price, service, quality and guarantee, and other applicable criteria to meet internal customer needs.
  • Verify available funds and appropriations of budget codes in accordance with procurement policy.
  • Work closely with business, vendors & partners to receive requirements on time and deliver procurement expanded value to World Vision.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or any related field.
  • At least Two (2) years' experience in purchasing a variety of general and specialized items, shipping and receiving, and basic accounting.
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of modern office methods and equipment.
  • Experience performing detailed work related to requisitioning a wide variety of goods and services.
