As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.
This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function. The primary responsibility is to provide support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Review assigned work orders and collaborate with available systems to track completion.
- Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
- Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Utilize established procedures to resolve straightforward issues. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
- A High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. Alternatively, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Meet the physical demands of this role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- The ability to follow standard work routines and adhere to established standards in the application of work.
- Effective communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
