We are seeking an experienced and proactive Building & Facilities Manager to oversee the safety, functionality, and overall performance of our facilities. This role ensures our workplace remains efficient, well-maintained, and aligned with company standards while fostering a safe, compliant, and employee-friendly environment. Reporting directly to the Director of Workspace Experience, the Building & Facilities Manager plays a key leadership role in maintaining operational excellence across all sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance & Operations: Ensure proper and up-to-date maintenance of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management. Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program in collaboration with the Facilities Admin team.

  • Project Management: Partner with the Director of Workspace Experience and Head of IT to design and improve workspaces. Oversee renovation/construction projects, permits, and contractor coordination while ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

  • Safety & Security: Enforce safety rules and protocols, ensuring compliance with occupational health, fire, and government regulations.

  • Policies & Compliance: Develop and implement facilities-related policies and procedures in line with company standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and manage the Facilities team, providing guidance, training, and recognition while driving a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Health & Wellbeing: Collaborate with the Health and Wellness Manager, Chief of OSH, and medical teams to promote workplace safety and wellness programs, including emergency drills and health initiatives.

  • Asset & Inventory Management: Oversee facility equipment, housekeeping supplies, and company asset audits. Ensure effective cost management and accurate reporting.

  • Facility Use Oversight: Approve facility use requests, monitor usage, and enforce policies to optimize space utilization.

  • Budget & Financial Oversight: Manage facility budgets and petty cash, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and alignment with company goals.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field (master's degree is a plus).

  • Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience in facilities or building management, preferably in a corporate or BPO setting.

  • Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical) and regulatory compliance (Building & Construction related permits) is a must.

  • Demonstrated experience in project management (renovation, construction, space planning, contractor management).

  • Solid understanding of safety, security, and occupational health standards.

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in supervising cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent budget management, analytical, and decision-making skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to effectively work with leadership teams and external agencies (e.g., CDC, contractors).

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, project management tools, and asset management software.
