Accounting Manager Role Overview

Our organization is seeking an accomplished Accounting Manager to play a pivotal role in the accounting team. This individual will possess robust accounting expertise and business acumen, enabling them to operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levels.

Job Description:

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for leading the month-end close process, analyzing general ledger accounts, and providing insights on significant variances. They will also assist in preparing internal financial reports and support management with variance analysis and commentary on financial trends and results.

In addition, the Accounting Manager will reconcile all balance sheet accounts, ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of tax forms, and prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation. They will also identify and lead initiatives to streamline and automate accounting processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • CPA certification or active progress toward CPA.
  • 4+ years of accounting experience.
  • Hands-on experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
