Strategic Planning and Execution Leader

About the Role

The Strategic Planning and Execution Leader leads the creation/update of Globe Business's strategy and ensures its execution. This involves spearheading annual planning activities and quarterly strategy reviews. The role also ensures plan execution by providing strategic advisory services to various divisions and leading program management functions for the B2B business.

Main Responsibilities
  • Spearheads annual strategy planning and quarterly strategy reviews ensuring alignment with overall goals.
  • Leads the creation of Balanced Scorecards to measure performance.
  • Provides market competitive intelligence to aid management decision-making.
Strategy Advisory
  • Leads the function that provides strategic advisory projects to solve specific problems, capture opportunities, or improve internal ways-of-working.
  • Provides ad hoc studies to aid decision-making for various B2B divisions.
Program Management Office
  • Leads the Program Management Office (PMO) ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Synthesizes the project portfolio of the B2B business prioritizing projects linking them to overall strategy identifying interdependencies.
  • Ensures the program governance structure is updated to reflect changing needs.
  • Drives the implementation of best practices in project management across the business.
  • Updates the Head of SMBI on the progress risks and support needed for B2B projects.
Reporting and Governance
  • Prepares periodic governance reports or reports requested by top management.
Requirements
  • At least 7 years of experience in a strategy and project governance role.
  • Able to manage stakeholders including management and a team.
  • Proven track record in strategy and project governance.
  • Advanced level of knowledge in financial analysis is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in any business-related field is a minimum Master's degree in any business-related field is an advantage.
