Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Compliance Specialist to join our team at Job Matchmaker in Manila, Philippines.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an External Auditor with expertise in data analysis and financial reporting. They should also possess knowledge of external auditing practices and relevant regulations, including accounting standards such as GAAP and IFRS.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute effective auditing processes to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Audit financial statements and assess accounts for errors or irregularities.
  • Inspect internal systems and controls to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assess risk management tactics and implement strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Perform audits of non-financial areas, such as Health & Safety and IT.
  • Report systematic errors or fraud indicators to senior management.
  • Investigate specific issues brought forward by regulatory bodies.
  • Explain audit findings and recommend solutions to stakeholders.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven experience as an External Auditor.
  • Experience in data analysis and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of external auditing practices and relevant regulations.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards (e.g. GAAP, IFRS).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sound judgement and decision-making ability.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • CPA license; BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.

Salary: PHP 60,000 - 80,000 per month.
