Job Overview

The Senior Accountant plays a key role in assisting with financial management and bookkeeping tasks for clients. The primary focus is on ensuring accurate and timely completion of Bookkeeping, client payments, and BAS compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • BAS Compliance: Maintain up-to-date records and ensure accuracy in financial reports.
  • Reviewing GST Coding: Verify correct application of GST codes to ensure compliance.
  • P&L and BS Review: Conduct thorough reviews of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet to guarantee accurate entries.
  • Report Preparation: Create and submit reports as required by clients.
  • Bookkeeping and Accounts Payable: Manage daily transactions, including bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations.
  • Debtor Entries: Process customer payments and update records accordingly.
  • Review Receipt Bank AP Invoices in Xero: Verify invoices and ensure accurate processing.
  • Aged Payable Review: Regularly review outstanding accounts payable to prevent late payments.
  • Account Summary Report Preparation: Prepare detailed reports summarizing client accounts.
