Job Title: Mortgage Loan Support Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mortgage Loan Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide high-level support to mortgage brokers, ensuring seamless loan applications and settlements.

  • Support the broker throughout the loan application process
  • Assist with all stages of the loan process, from first contact through to settlement
  • Provide exceptional executive and administrative support to mortgage brokers and their applications
  • Request client information and liaise directly with clients to gather supporting documentation
  • Conduct needs analysis, serviceability assessments, product assessment, and funding position based on clients' objectives and situations
  • Research lender policies
  • Prepare loan comparisons
  • Package client loan applications, ensuring accurate data entry and supporting documentation
  • Follow up with lenders and report status
  • Ensure compliance-related matters are addressed, capturing documentation in the CRM system
  • Complete loan serviceability, order valuations, prepare forms, gather rate quotes, arrange loan doc execution, and arrange settlements
  • Post-settlement aftercare and review existing client loans to maintain client contact
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years Australian experience supporting a mortgage broker or banking/lending industry an advantage
  • Experience with Aggregator CRM software and Applyonline/Simpology (LoanApp) lodgment systems
  • Passionate about delivering quality client outcomes
  • Understanding of data privacy, the Australian Best Interest Duty, and Responsible Lending legislation
  • Accountable and accurate work
  • Understanding of mortgages language and end-to-end loan application process
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a cohesive and high-paced environment
  • Well-presented and detail-oriented
  • Ability to understand financial documents and assess PAYG applications
  • Great team player with a strong work ethic
  • IT savvy and able to learn software quickly
  • Highly organized and proficient at multi-tasking
