Financial Accountant and Collection Specialist

This role is responsible for managing accounts receivable, ensuring timely collections and maintaining accurate financial records.

Main Responsibilities
  • Utilize QuickBooks to manage accounts receivable and track payment records accurately.
  • Handle incoming payments, reconciling and applying them effectively within the system.
  • Contact clients to follow up on overdue invoices and resolve any payment disputes in a professional manner.
  • Prepare and issue invoices, credit memos, and account statements on time.
  • Generate and analyze reports related to accounts receivable and collection efforts regularly.
  • Assist in improving collection processes and implementing effective techniques to enhance efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with the finance team to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and organize documentation related to accounts receivable activities securely.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable and collections.
  • Expertise in QuickBooks is required for this position.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations is essential.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently is expected.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, is necessary for data analysis and reporting.
