Accounting Professional

This is a senior-level accounting position that requires expertise in financial record-keeping, bookkeeping, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping and be proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.

Main Responsibilities
  • Financial Recordkeeping:
    • Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable
    • Manage bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports
    • Assist in creating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders
  • Tax Preparation and Compliance:
    • Assist in tax return preparation by organizing financial data and preparing documentation for external accountants
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws, filing necessary forms
  • Accounts Management:
    • Oversee accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely billing and collections
    • Monitor and manage payroll, expense reimbursements, and other financial obligations
  • Auditing and Internal Controls:
    • Assist in auditing processes by providing accurate financial data and supporting documents
    • Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Support the preparation of company budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
    • Provide analysis and insights to management regarding financial performance and areas for improvement

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work accurately under pressure. Experience with industry-specific software and tools is also desirable.
