**Job Title:** Localization Coordinator, Subtitling

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Localization Coordinator in the subtitling team.

About the Role

As a key member of our localization team, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production lifecycle of subtitling projects.

  • You will be accountable for on-time delivery and ensuring that all projects are completed strictly respecting project milestones, procedures, and client specifications.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external linguists/vendors to determine workflow and steps to be followed for all projects being assigned.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Create detailed plans of action and communicate information about projects in the pipeline to external linguists/vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure all work-in-progress tasks are on track by updating trackers and running daily reports to denote accurate status of projects.
  • Resolve technical flags and pending queries from internal production departments and external stakeholders.
  • Update work trackers to ensure projects are assigned to users in a timely fashion and to denote accurate status of projects.
  • Proactively identify and resourcefully troubleshoot potential issues with projects in progress.
  • Perform secondary sync checks on proxy and asset checks on scripts provided before launching a project.
  • Be responsible for resolving all payments monthly.
  • Coordinate redeliveries and rejections, identify their causes, complete Corrective Action Reports where applicable, and propose solutions to meet KPI targets.
  • Remain flexible and prioritize the needs of clients, which may involve working outside standard hours to ensure deliveries are met.
  • Have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask under pressure.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Media/Localization industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Fluency in another language is a plus.
  • 1-2 years' experience in Media/Localization industry, but entry-level candidates will be considered.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Team player with ability to multitask and work under pressure of deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database software.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and/or weekends if needed to meet specific project deadlines.
