Corporate Credit Officer Job DescriptionJob Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team in the role of Credit Analyst and Review Officer. This position requires assessing the creditworthiness of borrowers, conducting financial and risk analyses, and supporting lending decisions by preparing Credit Offering Memos.

In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with marketing teams to evaluate transactions and ensure accurate, timely credit processing.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough financial and credit analysis of prospective and existing clients.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive Credit Offering Memos to support credit decisions.
  • Evaluate risks and recommend suitable credit structures and terms.
  • Monitor borrower performance and identify early warning signals.
  • Recommend actions on restructuring, renewals, or collections as needed.
  • Closely collaborate with marketing teams to ensure timely and accurate credit processing.
Requirements
  • A college degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Banking is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Account Officer or Credit Officer in commercial and/or corporate lending with a similar-sized or larger bank.
  • Strong knowledge of credit evaluation, banking products, data analysis, financial monitoring, reporting, research, and risk management.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a solid understanding of business and industry factors influencing credit decisions.
  • Superb communication skills, articulate and proficient in oral and written English.
  • A collaborative team player who can effectively coordinate across units.
  • Strong time management skills, able to work under pressure and meet client requirements.
