Data Analyst Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our data team. As a data analyst, you will be responsible for shaping analytics-ready datasets that fuel business intelligence dashboards and reports—helping stakeholders make informed decisions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain analytics-ready datasets for business intelligence dashboards and reports
  • Create optimized SQL queries for data cleaning, transformation, and metric development
  • Design scalable data models (e.g., star schemas, snowflake schemas)
  • Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and business teams to translate requirements into data solutions
  • Work with data engineers to ensure pipelines are reliable and high-performing
  • Browse through various Business Intelligence tools and select the best for building and maintaining dashboards and reports
  • Ensure data quality through testing, documentation, and version control
  • Support data governance with structured data definitions and clear documentation
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or related role
  • Proficiency in SQL for complex data transformations and calculations
  • Experience building analytics-ready tables and datasets for reporting
  • Solid understanding of data modeling concepts such as star schema
  • Experience with Looker or similar BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Desirable Skills:
  • Proven ability to work in cross-functional data teams
  • Familiarity with data governance best practices
  • Knowledge of advanced BI features and custom visualizations
