Job Title: Procurement Specialist

At the heart of our operations lies a crucial role that requires exceptional skills in sourcing, logistics, and communication. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for procuring materials and services necessary to support vessel operations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate and revise purchase orders for approved service, repair, and material requisitions created in our system.
  • Research and identify supply options to meet our operational needs.
  • Coordinate logistics of the material or parts for repair up to their final destination.
  • Provide follow-up and expediting as needed to ensure arrival of supplies at final destination.
  • Maintain proper backup documentation in the purchase orders file.
  • Develop and maintain regular progress reports on all initiatives.
  • Follow prescribed guidelines and procedures on Technical Purchasing defined in our manual.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in technical education or background in technical trading field.
  • 1 year of technical purchasing experience preferred, with business or technical purchasing experience.
