At JTI, we're looking for a skilled Incident Response Specialist to join our team in Manila. This is a great opportunity to work with a diverse group of professionals who are passionate about information security.

The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to low and medium-level security incidents, mainly phishing, malware, and web attacks. They will assess, triage, categorize, and prioritize these incidents, escalating them to higher tiers when necessary.

In this role, you will derive immediate mitigation measures for containment, eradication, and recovery of security incidents, track progress, and coordinate incident response task forces with different IT functions and end-users. You will also estimate the scope of impacted assets and ensure that remediation is properly addressed.

To succeed in this position, you will need 1 year of experience in information security or 2 years of experience in system or network administration. Knowledge of information security principles and best practices is essential, as well as familiarity with tools and techniques used in incident detection and response.
