You will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the Security Operations Center (SOC), ensuring efficient threat detection, prompt incident response, and seamless coordination among team members and across different business departments.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead SOC Activities: Oversee the daily activities of the SOC, ensuring consistent incident monitoring and response.
  2. Provide Leadership and Development: Act as an escalation point for complex incidents, providing leadership and development for the Security Operation Leads.
  3. Implement Continuous Improvements: Develop and implement processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of security operations.
  4. Collaborate with Other Departments: Work with other departments on security protocols, developing and tracking key SOC performance metrics.

Requirements

  • A relevant degree or 7+ years of experience in Security operations.
  • Strong understanding of industry-standard security frameworks and best practices.
  • Expertise in SIEM systems, IDPS, EDR, and automation tools.
  • Knowledge in networking, cloud security, and IT systems.
  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISM, CISA, CISSP).
