Job Title: Insurance Risk Specialist

This role involves providing technical expertise in reviewing and processing insurance applications, renewals, and endorsements to ensure compliance with underwriting policies and guidelines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing recommendations on business improvement focusing on Turnaround Time (TAT) opportunities.
  • Maintaining product system and process knowledge.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
  • Resolving escalated complaints promptly.
  • Establishing and maintaining a good working relationship with stakeholders.
  • Monitoring pending items from brokers and clients for existing policies following required processes and guidelines.
  • Assisting with new submission reviews buyer research and underwriting model completion to minimise risk and contribute to business growth.
  • Assisting with the preparation of binder and policy documents adhering to deadlines and guidelines.
  • Tracking new and pending claims status by liaising between the company and broker.

Requirements:

  • Necessary Work Experience includes some relevant work experience.
  • Preferred Work Experience includes experience in BPO industry with shifting schedules.

Qualifications:

  • Necessary Qualifications include a Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
