Financial Operations and Regulatory Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations and Regulatory Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely financial records across multiple international entities, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and IFRS, managing AP, AR, and general ledger functions in complex multi-entity environments, processing and reconciling inter-company transactions and eliminations, preparing detailed variance analyses and performance reports for executives, and ensuring compliance with SEC and public company disclosure requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and timely financial records across multiple international entities.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and IFRS.
  • Manage AP, AR, and general ledger functions in complex multi-entity environments.
  • Process and reconcile inter-company transactions and eliminations.
  • Prepare detailed variance analyses and performance reports for executives.
  • Ensure compliance with SEC and public company disclosure requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA license or international equivalent (CA, CGA, ACCA).
  • 5–8 years of accounting experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and international accounting standards.
  • Proven confidentiality and discretion with sensitive financial data.
  • Experience with SEC/public company reporting and regulated audit environments.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Technical Proficiencies:

  • QuickBooks Enterprise Diamond (expert level)
  • Microsoft 365 / Teams (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • ERP systems: SAP, Oracle, NetSuite (or similar)
  • Financial reporting software: Hyperion, Cognos (or similar)

Preferred:

  • MBA or Master's in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Advanced CPA specializations (e.g., tax, audit, international accounting).
  • CIA or CFE certification.
  • Experience in transfer pricing, IP accounting, or cost capitalization.
